Soft launching of Ismail Clamp. Ismail Clamp brochure, patient card, measuring device and order form posted to 2,000 Malay/Muslim general practitioners in West (Peninsular) and East (Sabah Sarawak) Malaysia. Ideally, all general practitioners should be informed, but due to limited resources, we decided to initially concentrate on Malay/Muslim/Non Muslim bumiputra general practitioners, because the bulk of circumcisions are performed by Malay/Muslim general practitioners, on 6 to 15 year old Muslim boys during the long school vacation in November and December every year. For doctor who would like to try Ismail Clamp, this will give them ample time to place an order.
Only Ismail Clamp Sizes 13 & 16 are currently available. Sizes 10 & 19 will be available in 2007.
